I had the pleasure of being a guest on episode 52 of Keeping You Organized, Wardrobe Wisdom with Smead Organomics. I talked about clothing capsules and having an organized style.

During the discussion, I mention my affordable, downloadable workbook, Wardrobe Wisdom. If you’d like to learn more about decluttering, organizing and creating a closet of clothes that fit and flatter just watch the video.

Wardrobe Wisdom is about spending less on clothes and wearing what you have more often. It’s really about how to get the biggest bang for your buck with clothing, accessories, and closet space and, decluttering everything that doesn’t work with your current lifestyle.

I go into detail on my seven basic tips for building a wardrobe that works for you and your style. First of all, take your measurements and analyze your body shape. Next, think about what you want to “glamoflage”. Determine your style and create a list of wardrobe basics. Repair clothes that need mending or alterations. And if you decide not to deal with them get them out of your closet! Finally, audit your closet and create clothing capsules.

Also, make sure to listen to these interviews on planning a Capsule Wardrobe. They are part of the Wardrobe Wisdom with Smead Organomics on the Keeping You Organized video/podcast series:
