By the way, let me introduce myself: my name is Geralin Thomas and I’m dedicated to coaching professional organizers who want to become successful business owners while pursuing their passion for organizing and helping people be more productive. I have been a business owner since 2002, I’m a past president of  NAPO-North Carolina, I teach classes for both the Institute for Challenging Disorganization and the National Association of Professional Organizers and I’m a public speaker.  In addition, I’m often quoted in national magazines and have appeared on lots of  TV shows including the Emmy-nominated  TV show Hoarders on A&E TV.  Still curious? Just Google me!  But, before Googling, “Geralin Thomas,” please spend time on my website and remember that comments and questions are encouraged and welcome Email me or leave a voice mail at:  919-380-7718 (same time zone as NY)

In the past six months, I’ve had inquiries from people all over the world (yes, the world!) asking me how to become a professional organizer and when to start an organizing business. While anytime is OK for starting an organizing business, this time of the year is one of the very best to get your organizing business set up and—well, dare I say, “organized”?

How to Become a Professional Organizer Training with Geralin Thomas

Becoming a professional organizer and marketing a new organizing business aren’t difficult, but setting up your business can be time-consuming and may require skills you haven’t yet acquired. To help those who have asked for my assistance, I’ve rearranged my calendar. Now, I have more availability for one-hour, one-on-one phone appointments, during which you (as a new professional organizer) may ask me any questions you like about becoming a professional organizer.

The purpose of these calls is for us to co-create a mapped-out, personalized route to a successful, sustainable organizing business. When starting out, some organizers prefer to hop on the highway and speed full-throttle toward their new business, while others prefer a leisurely “scenic route,” savoring each moment on their own unique road to vocational success. Either way can lead to a growing, thriving business. The choice is not mine; it’s yours. I’m here to help make sure you get to your “destination” safely and efficiently.
